My husband loves flashlights. I am not sure what it was about flashlights that he finds so intriguing but whenever he sees one, he will stop and check it out, regardless of whether we are at the mall or at a friend's house. It is as if he was trying to look for the best flashlight. But then, a long while ago, I had told him that we should not be buying flashlight anymore. You see, we have more than 10 flashlights lying in every part of the house. And I think this are more than enough to last us till we become old! In fact, I sometimes wonder if we have more flashlights than our local hardware store. The long ones, small ones, LED types, you name it, he definitely have them. And he would occasionally take them out and check if they are in a good condition or not. I always joke with our neighbors that if there ever were any power outage at our area, I should be the person to run to for flashlights.

A pricier light is more powerful due to the use of advanced bulb, battery and circuitry technology. A rechargeable battery can add to the cost, as can features such as strong impact- and water-resistance, effective heat dissipation and multiple lighting modes..."
